Work Experience

Raquel Jorge Ricart is Director of Analysis and Research at the Enterprise, Security and Digital Society Foundation (ESYS).

$

She was a Fulbright Fellow funded by the US-Spain Fulbright Commission, and holds a Master's degree in Security Policy, with a specialisation in technology policy, from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University (Washington, DC).

$

She has previously worked with a technical assistance contract in the planning of the National Strategy for Technology and Global Order on technology diplomacy at Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Government of Spain. She has also worked as an expert external consultant for the European Commission.

$

Previously, she worked on digital public policy projects at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, and at a UK-based consultancy working on foresight methodologies for governments and international institutions.

$

She has worked as a consultant for several public, private and social sector entities in Spain, the United States and France, and has advised Permanent Delegations to the EU on technology policy issues.

$

She is a member of the Younger Generation Leaders Network of the European Leadership Network, whose core members include former Heads of Government, Ministers and leading EU representatives.

$

She has been recognised as one of the Young Leaders in Europe in the "35 Under 35" list by Santander Bank-CIDOB. She contributes to the media and regularly appears as a speaker.
